Creative Art Directors Caroline and Ginger Karte from A La Karte Profashionals (Mother and Daughter) love challenges!

 

With their editorials you can always expect something "crazy and different"

 

In their concepts and the styling they like to mix colors and styles until a crazy medley will splash of the photo.

 

In this editorial Caroline and Ginger mixed a few very different extravagant designers :

 

 

  • Carmichael Byfield of the House of Byfield who is a Jamaican with Caribbean colorful influences

  • Monique Desar a Haute Couture designer who uses unusual materials like placemats, floor mats, umbrella covers

  • Angelle Chang a designer for mothers and kids who makes trendy crazy designs from luxurious fabrics from Japan

  • Sandra Krouwer a Hair Art Designer who makes designs from human hair

  • Christel Verkerke Designer of Living Pearls who makes specially shaped jewelry from pearls

  • Mascolori shoes with amazing colors and prints

 

So with this crazy set of designers combined with beautiful colorful models from all over the globe it was a real challenge to make a great concept.

 

 

Fantastic Fashion Photographer Martin Bierman knows exactly how to capture this extravagant mishmash beautifully.

His crazy compositions inspire and lets you watch 2 times, his light-settings are so well thougth that every detail is interesting.

 

The make-up and hairstyling done by Margreet Splunter and Caroline are completing, complimenting and glue it all together.

Created by Caribbean designer Platinum “iridium clothing is for the person that like to stand out “ as he would put it !!!  So mover over sagging jeans hobbies and dreads heads there a new fresh boss in town and he’s got the holy water for you “CLONES” time after  i see so many young men and women dressed alike as i take a stroll from one end of the city to the next in there standard uniform Jordan’s shoes and a pelle pelle coat or tru religion jeans and a north faces jacket and i ask myself did fashion die ? with a epidemic of so many young people  scared to express themselves iridium clothing allows the wear to shine like a beacon of hope and show the fashion sinner’s the error there ways . When i  first met PLATINUM the genius behind the brand he seemed reluctant at the idea of  just letting anyone promote his brand which I could understand I mean after creating a strong foothold in the industry how could he, so to make things more appealing  i reached out to FRESH FACES MODEL MANAGEMENT and  asked them would they be willing to lend us a helping hand and they did just that, by providing us with a few cast members from the new up a and coming TV show THE MODEL IDEA  created by Chicago power  house Michael Anthony scheduled to air on hulu the april.While on the set which i might add was  photographers dream he seemed to warm up to me once we started  to talking about “HIM” which i found amusing that a designer could be so narcissistic but when your talking IRIDIUM N.0  77 platinum is the central nucleus that makes the brand operates on the scale that it functions on and prides himself on  creating a brand that communicates as art and a international language that crosses over to all demographics in such a competitive market.
